  • Security configuration alerts
  • Vulnerability scanning and reporting

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use our Service, you must:

  • Create an account with accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Monitor websites you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor
  • Engage in any illegal, harmful, or malicious activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service for competitive intelligence or reverse engineering
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

5.1 Free and Paid Plans

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide additional features and monitoring capabilities.

5.2 Payment Terms

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change subscription fees with 30 days' notice

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

6. Data and Privacy

7. Website Monitoring Limitations

While we strive to provide accurate and timely monitoring:

  • We cannot guarantee 100% uptime or detection of all security issues
  • Monitoring frequency depends on your subscription plan
  • Some websites may block our monitoring requests
  • We are not responsible for false positives or missed alerts

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SecurityBot.dev and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you provide to us, including website URLs and configuration data. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use this information to provide our monitoring services.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Service may integrate with third-party services (such as Stripe for payments). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SecurityBot.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

11.3 Maximum Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SecurityBot.dev from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or other reasons we deem appropriate.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ohio, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SecurityBot.dev regarding the Service.
